- Packer - A prosthetic (typically phallic in nature) which is placed in one's underwear to give the outward apperance of having a bulge. Typically used by transgender men and transmasculine people.
- Packing - The act of using a packer.
- Pangender - Having or experiencing all genders, or many genders, either simultaneously or over time; may also include an agender or genderless experience.
- Passing -
- The state of being perceived as the gender one wishes to be seen as.
- When someone who is transgender is easily or often assumed to be the gender they identify as without revealing said gender to others.
- Pathologization - The act of treating something as an illness or disorder, which is abnormal and needs to be fixed. Transgender status is often pathologized.
- Penectomy - Surgical removal of the penis.
- Penis - Male sexual organ used for urination and ejaculation.
- Periareolar - A type of FTM top surgery.
- Perisex - A term with a prefix meaning "around" or "near." Someone who is not intersex.
- Penile Inversion - A type of vaginoplasty.
- Penile-Preserving - A salmacian variant of vaginoplasty.
- Period Underwear - An alternative to pads and tampons.
- Peritoneal - A type of vaginoplasty.
- P.F.A.B. - Presumed Female At Birth
- Phalloplasty - A type of FTM bottom surgery.
- P.M.A.B. - Presumed Male At Birth
- Polygender - Having or experiencing several genders, either simultaneously or over time; may also include an agender or genderless experience.
- Post-Ho - After hormone treatments.
- Post-op - Slang referring to a transgender person who has already undergone surgical transition. Sometimes referring to a specific surgery, or all relevant surgeries; depending on where that person is on their own personal transition timeline.
- Preferred Pronouns - The pronouns that a person wished to be called by. Using a person’s preferred pronouns is a key part of respecting their gender.
- Pre-Ho - Before hormone treatments.
- Pre-op - Slang referring to a transgender person who has not undergone surgical transition. Sometimes refering to any and all surgeries, sometimes referring to a specific surgery, depending on the person in question's personal transition goals.
- Primary Sex Characteristics - Anatomical organs that play a direct role in reproduction, such as the genitals.
- Prin - A gender neutral word used to refer to a member of a royal family other than the monarch, especially the child of the monarch. Can be used in the same manner as words such as prince or princess.
- Pronoun -
- Small words such as he, she, her, them, and us, which are used to refer to people. In English, there are four common third-person pronoun groups: he/his/him, she/hers/her, they/their/them, and it/its/it. Individual people may decide which of these pronouns they wish to be referred to as, or they may use pronouns that have been more recently coined.
- A third-person term used to replace one's name in a sentence. Often used to indicate gender identity.
- Puberty Blockers - Treatment used to pause puberty. Also known as hormone blockers.
