- Necronym - Many transgender people decide to change their given name as a part of their social transition. The 'original birth name' that is no longer used is sometimes referred to as a 'necronym.' More commonly known as a deadname.

- Neurotypical - Neurotypical is a descriptor that refers to someone who has the brain functions, behaviors, and processing considered "standard" or "typical."

- Neopronouns - Any set of singular third-person pronouns that are not officially recognized in the language they are used in, typically created with the intent of being a gender neutral pronoun set.
- Neovagina - A new vagina. Typically refers to vaginoplasty results.
- Nibling - Gender neutral replacement word for niece or nephew.
- Nonbinary - An umbrella term reffering to all gender identities, excluding only male and female. Some individuals will identify as simply nonbinary.
- Nullification - Surgical procedures to remove male or female genitalia without necessarily replacing them.
