Packers

General Questions

What is a packer?
Packers are tools used for alleviating gender dysphoria. More specifically, bottom dysphoria. This refers to feeling dysphoria regarding one's own genitalia.

What can be used as a packer?
Rolled up socks are a classic example of a DIY at-home packer. A bit simple, but it gets the job done. If you're looking for something more professional, body-safe silicone, there are plenty of shops who will provide such items. Depending on your price range, there are highly-customizable realistic packers out there which can be acquired.

How to choose a size?
When starting out with packing, it is generally advised to start out with something small so that you can get used to having something there. Whether this be a cheap packer, or something makeshift. From there, you can figure out what size you'd be most comfortable with. Everyone is different.

How does it stay in place?
This will vary depending on the packer. Some are self-adhesive. Others can be secured using special 'packing underwear.' Jockstraps, or other harnesses can be used or modified for a packer.

Packer Varients

Think of it like this; you can buy a bottle of shampoo and a bottle of conditioner, or you can buy a bottle of 3-in-one that includes body wash as well. The same goes for packers. Different packers will advertise different functions or combination of functions.
