2 1/4 Cup Flour
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1 Cup Unsalted Butter (softened)
3/4 Cup Packed Brown Sugar
3/4 Cup Granulated Sugar
1 Egg
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
3/4 Cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Baking Sheet
Mix flour, baking soda, and salt in small bowl.
Mix butter and sugar in large bowl, then add egg and vanilla.
Stir Flour mixture into large bowl until evenly combined.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Shape cookie dough into balls on parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake for 8-10 minutes at 375°F.
Allow cookies to cool, then serve.
Adjust temperature according to oven behavior.
Do not add salt if using salted butter.
Leave butter out on counter the day before you plan to make the cookies so that it can soften appropriately.
